The numbers behind a UAE business
Bookkeeping, Corporate Tax, VAT, payroll and the monthly reporting that tells you what is actually happening — for owner-managed businesses across the UAE. Fixed fees, a named accountant, and a close that lands on the same working day every month.
An accounting firm for owner-managed UAE business
Neo Finance keeps the books, files the VAT and Corporate Tax, runs the payroll, prepares the statements and produces the monthly numbers that tell you what is actually happening in the business. Fixed monthly fees, a named person who knows your file, and a close that lands on the same working day every month.
We work for businesses between a single owner-operator and a group of a few dozen entities or locations — the range where finance matters enormously and a full-time finance team is not yet justified.
Do you perform audits?
No — our licence does not permit it. Neo Finance is licensed for Accounting & Bookkeeping (activity 6920003), which expressly excludes examining or auditing accounts. We prepare the financial statements and the audit file and appoint an independent UAE-registered auditor. See audit support.
Who do you act for?
Owner-managed UAE businesses across most sectors — traders, contractors, manufacturers, professional firms, clinics, retailers, family offices, free zone entities and virtual-asset businesses.
Where are you?
Registered with the Dubai Development Authority in Dubai Media City, working across all seven emirates and every major free zone. Accounting is cloud-based; regime knowledge is what actually has to be local.
What does it cost?
A fixed monthly fee quoted against a defined scope, driven by complexity rather than revenue. See our fees.

Payroll & WPS
Paid on time, with gratuity actually provided for.
Management Accounts
By working day seven, while it still matters.
Outsourced CFO
Senior finance on defined monthly days.
Financial Statements
IFRS, ready for your auditor and your licence.
Audit Support
We prepare it; an independent registered auditor signs it.
Credit Control
The invoices that turn into cash, chased properly.
Where the accounting stops being generic
Some businesses need a competent general accountant. Others need someone who already knows that unapproved variations are not revenue, that consignment stock is not yours, that landed cost belongs in inventory rather than overheads, and that a rent-free fit-out period is a lease incentive rather than free months.
Retail & Shopping Malls
Stores, kiosks and food courts — turnover rent, POS and occupancy.
Virtual Assets
IFRS policy, wallet reconciliation and regulator-ready records.
Construction
Revenue over time, retentions, and the cash gap that kills contractors.
Trading & Logistics
Landed cost into stock, import VAT, goods in transit.
Manufacturing
Cost of production, WIP and overhead absorption.
Family Offices
Consolidated across entities, jurisdictions and currencies.
Real Estate
IAS 40, off-plan revenue and property VAT.
Hospitality
Departmental reporting, USALI and occupancy metrics.
Professional Services
WIP, recoverability and lock-up.
Three areas we have gone further into than most
- Retail and shopping-mall tenants. A store in a mall reports to more parties than most businesses its size — a landlord with a contractual right to read its sales, acquirers and delivery platforms settling late and net, and two separate taxes. We handle turnover rent and landlord certificates, POS reconciliation and store-level reporting. Mall store accounting →
- Free zone entities and QFZP status. The 0% Corporate Tax rate is not conferred by a licence — it is a set of conditions tested every period, and failing one costs the status for five. We monitor the de minimis position monthly rather than reporting a breach after it happens. Free zone accounting →
- Virtual assets and digital business. No IFRS standard was written for cryptoassets, the assets move constantly, and VARA and FSRA read your records. The accounting policy set at the outset is the one defended for years. Virtual asset accounting →

- The monthly rhythmTransactions processed as they happen, reconciliations completed, close on a fixed working day, and a management pack that fits on a few pages.
- The annual eventsFinancial statements, Corporate Tax return, audit file and an independent auditor appointed where one is required — none of it a surprise, because the file was built all year.
Part of the Neo group
Neo Finance is the accounting practice of the Neo group, alongside Neo Legal, the group's UAE legal practice. The point of the pairing is practical: a shareholder exit, a licensing question, an employment matter or a lease dispute goes to lawyers rather than to an accountant improvising — and the two sides of the file talk to each other.

Neo Finance — frequently asked questions
Neo Finance is a UAE accounting firm. We provide bookkeeping and monthly close, management accounts, UAE Corporate Tax registration and filing, VAT and excise compliance, payroll and WPS, credit control, financial statement preparation under IFRS, audit readiness and outsourced CFO services — for owner-managed businesses across the UAE.
No. Neo Finance is licensed for Accounting & Bookkeeping under UAE activity code 6920003 — a professional, non-regulated activity that expressly does not permit the examination or auditing of accounts. Where a statutory or free zone audit is required, we prepare the financial statements and the audit file, appoint an independent UAE-registered audit firm, and manage the audit through to completion. That separation also preserves the independence that makes an audit opinion useful to a bank, a regulator or a buyer.
Owner-managed businesses, broadly from a one-person consultancy or single site up to groups running several dozen entities or locations. Below that we will often tell you that you do not need us yet and what to do instead. Above it, a business with its own finance team usually needs specific support — CFO input, technical accounting, transaction work — rather than full outsourcing, and we scope accordingly.
You need compliant records regardless of size. UAE Corporate Tax requires every taxable person to register, to keep records supporting the return for seven years, and to file within nine months of the period end — even where no tax is payable. VAT adds its own obligations above the AED 375,000 threshold. Whether you outsource is a separate question, and for a very small business with few transactions self-management can work. It usually stops working when volume rises, when VAT registration adds quarterly deadlines, or when a bank, landlord or auditor starts reading your numbers.
Usually within a month and often faster. With a clean trial balance and access to the accounting system the transition takes days. What extends it is the state of the records rather than the handover itself — where books are incomplete, the handover is quick but the remediation is a separate, separately priced piece of work. See catch-up bookkeeping.
